St. Ann’s Church, Manchester
St. Ann’s church can be found in the centre of Manchester surrounded by modern shops. The building was constructed between 1709 and 1712 and has been Grade I listed by English Heritage. John Lambert Historic Cleaning Services carried out full cleaning to the face of exterior stonework using the ‘DOFF’ cleaning system as part of an award winning programme of conservation. This renewed many sections of moulded cornice, lengths of moulded string course and façade ashlar stonework with new lead work added to weather bearing features and a major reconstruction of the timber roof structure.
